CHOUDHARY MUHAMMAD IQBAL, a renowned scientist in the field of natural products chemistry, has been engaged in natural medicine research for over forty years. He has published 98 books and over 1,000 papers, with nearly 50,000 citations (H-index 87). He has been awarded the President’s Medal of Pakistan and the Iranian Presidential International Award. In 2021, he received the Mustafa Prize (the Nobel Prize of the Islamic world). He has long been dedicated to promoting international cooperation in traditional medicine (including Traditional Chinese Medicine and Unani Medicine) and space medicine between China, Pakistan, and OIC countries. In 2022, he received the China Friendship Award.
